About AAT

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is a professional membership body, awarding skills-based accountancy and finance qualifications.

As a globally-recognised organisation, AAT works with around 130,000 members in more than 100 countries. AAT members are represented at every level of the finance and accounting world, including students, people already working in accountancy, and self-employed business owners.

If you are looking to improve your career prospects you are in the right place. AAT Accounting Qualifications are universally respected and internationally recognised, and AAT awards around 80% of all vocational qualifications in accounting.

Multinational firms such as Sainsbury’s, P&G, Morgan Stanley, the Ministry of Defence, and many more continue to hire employees that have AAT qualifications for their knowledge, skills, diligence, and enthusiasm. To these companies, AAT represents the highest standards of professionalism.

AAT qualifications are regulated by all four UK qualification regulators, including Ofqual (England), CCEA (Northern Ireland), SQA (Scotland), and Qualifications Wales. AAT is also a recognised End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO) for the purpose of providing End Point Assessments (EPAs) for Apprenticeships in Accounting at Levels 2, 3, and 4.

Gain practical, real-world accounting and finance skills demanded by employers and start your journey with AAT.
